After a recent visit to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam I felt inspired to paint the viewers of the art. The painting features three individuals from behind, seemingly art enthusiasts, standing in front of a colorful, abstract rendition of a Rembrandt’s Syndics of the Drapers Guild (de Staalmeesters). The style is characterized by vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes, suggesting Impressionism. .
