Colorful painting of Monschau, a medieval town in Germany. I spent half a day painting plein air in Monschau quite a few years ago. It didnt look that far away on the map from where I was staying with family in Holland, only 148km. But it turned out to be a 4 hour drive with road works, detours and heavy heavy traffic! I took heaps of photos though, so it's nice to revisit these and dream of one day going again!
I paint with large brushes and bold, loose brush strokes in vibrant color.
My style is Spontaneous Realism and Pop Art. My loyal customers call it Happy Art!
